We ship 1.0.0 tomorrow. It’s been the roughest release in a while, partly due to scope, partly due to my own lack of focus, but it’s come together. I’m reasonably confident in the code, but there’s a lot to go wrong, especially when you’re talking about an automatically-updated application whose installations you can’t access directly and whose local support is variable. If all goes well, we’ll be poised to move most if not all instances over to next-generation onion services, which is a very big deal if you’re into the whole crypto thing. If all doesn’t go well, there are apologies and point releases in my future. If things go really badly, there’ll be profuse apologies and onsites.

So let’s hope it goes well! There’s enough to be doing.
